The Comanchen Ranch located in a village of only 500 inhabitants; near Plau am See, right within the Mecklenburg Lake District. Horses are kept in a 12 ha pasture also offering shelter. Besides 12 box stalls, the ranch also offers a great indoor riding arena. Children can get trained in vaulting or enjoy leisure riding and experience nature from the back of their horse. Young horses can be trained at the Comanchen Ranch. Children aged 8+ are welcome to spend their summer holiday at the ranch. Additionally school groups can visit and enjoy a day full of adventure, play and fun including a lot of riding experiences. The same offer counts for the birthday party of your child.

Furthermore there is a box or space in the pasture for your horse. In addition to the breeding of Friesian horses, there are guided tours into the nature rich in water and woodland offered, just as well as riding in the arena, longeing or a pony for the younger ones. In a peaceful and quiet secluded location you can find the ranch Silberweide within the undulating landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Bordering the nature reserves Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide and Langenhägener Seewiesen it’s the surrounded by lakes, hiking, cycling and horse riding routes. You can observe Sea eagle or cranes. The property is holding a big pond, where you can hear the fire bellied toad. There are of course the pastures, a riding arena and longeing circle. Furthermore you can find an old tree population of majestic white willows, a farmer’s garden, a fruit tree meadow, a playground and a bonfire area. The holiday apartment has got its own terrace and offers a view across the pasture.

Water, forest and sandy horse riding paths…
...is what you can find at the equestrian sports centre at Alt Sammit, part of the Stud farm Ganschow, which hosts 300 horses to the day. Enjoy a ride through the terrain of the nature Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide. The stud offers holiday flats for up to 8 people, viewing for groups, charabanc and carriage rides as well as lessons in horse riding. The Highlight of the year is the Ganschow mare parade in July. An event including more than 200 horses mesmerises guests with an exciting and entertaining show.

The riding club offers everything a newcomer or advanced horse rider may expect. There are training horses for taking lessons, horses for a ride out and a lot of other horse related events. Plenty of room in pastures, partially sheltered, welcome as a host for your horse.
